Suzana Peran
Assistant Professor at the University Department of Communication Sciences at the Catholic University of Croatia, where she teaches a range of journalism-related courses. She earned her bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees from the University of Zagreb, where she defended her dissertation titled "The Image of the Family in Croatian Media: Media and the Catholic Doctrine on the Family."
Before joining the Catholic University of Croatia, she worked for many years as a journalist and editor, including serving as Editor-in-Chief of the Catholic News Agency (IKA). She is currently the President of the Croatian Association of Catholic Journalists.
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
The relationship between family and media; media credibility; representation of women in the media; religious topics in the media; the relationship between the Church and the media; media convergence; media literacy.
