Sandra Moslavac
Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Catholic University of Croatia. She graduated from the University of Zagreb School of Medicine, where she obtained her PhD in 2017 with a doctoral dissertation on the expression of Piwil2 and HMGA2 in papillary thyroid carcinoma.
After completing her specialist training in clinical cytology, she served as Head of the Cytology Laboratory at Virovitica General Hospital (1999–2003). At the Agram Special Hospital, she held multiple leadership roles: Head of the Cytology Laboratory (2003–2024), Head of the Department of Medical Specialities (2005–2018), and Deputy General Director (2019–2024).
She is a member of the Educational Committee of the European Federation of Cytology Societies (EFCS) and Chair of the EFCS QUATE Committee (Quality Assurance, Training, and Examination; an international certification examination for cytotechnologists).
