Kristijan Sedak
PhD in Information and Communication Sciences, is a Postdoctoral Fellow and Researcher at the Department of Communication Sciences at the Catholic University of Croatia. In addition to his teaching experience, he has acquired substantial expertise in public relations and communication through his work as an advisor, spokesperson and collaborator on numerous campaigns. He also works as an international political consultant and is the founder of the Demosten Speaking Academy and the Digital Academy for Social Media Management. He is a member of the Standing Group on Political Communication of the European Consortium for Political Research and serves on the Board of Directors of the Croatian Public Relations Association.
Through his media contributions, professional expertise and analyses, he regularly helps to foster a deeper understanding of complex contemporary socio-political issues. He is particularly engaged in designing and leading educational projects and communication training programmes, with a special focus on the development of leadership skills. His research focuses on applied aspects of communication, with particular emphasis on political and online communication, public speaking and areas such as health communication.
He has published extensively in the fields of public relations and political communication, authoring numerous professional and academic papers.

CRO Laudato si, Chair of the Scientific Committee: Associate Professor Andreja Sršen, Catholic University of Croatia, 2019–2021 This interdisciplinary project focused on implementing the Catholic Church’s teachings regarding responsibility towards God, others, and the environment, inspired by Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato si’ – On Care for Our Common Home.
