Katarina Užarević

Teaching assistant at the Department of Psychology, Catholic University of Croatia, Zagreb. Katarina Užarević earned her Master’s degree in Psychology from the Catholic University of Croatia in 2024, with Master’s thesis entitled "The Impact of Expressive Writing on Working Memory, Stress, and Mental Health in Students." 

During her studies, Katarina received the Departmental Award for the best academic achievement in the academic years 2019/2020, 2020/2021, 2021/2022, 2022/2023, and 2023/2024. She also received the Departmental Award for Outstanding Extracurricular Engagement in the academic year 2020/2021.

Furthermore, she was the recipient of the Rector’s Award for excellence at both undergraduate (2023) and graduate (2025) psychology studies, as well as the Branko Sremec Award for the best student paper in the field of experimental psychology (2024). In the academic years 2021/2022 and 2022/2023, she received the university scholarship for excellence.
