Jakov Žižić

Jakov Žižić is a Political Scientist and Assistant Professor at the Catholic University of Croatia. His areas of research include Christian Democracy, Politics of the European Union and Consociational Democracy. He edited three conference proceedings and wrote a number of scientific and professional papers. He participated in numerous scientific conferences in Croatia and abroad. He is member of COMECE Comission on EU External Relations and CIVITAS-Forum of Archives and Research on Christian Democracy. He was member of The Ethics Commission in the 2024 election of deputies to Croatian Parliament and the Ethics Commission in the 2024 election of Croatian MEPs to European Parliament. He writes opinion columns in the Catholic weekly newspaper Glas Koncila and acts as a political pundit in several Croatian media.
