Ivan Šklebar

Associate Professor Phd. Ivan Šklebar, MD specialist in anesthesiology, subspecialist in intensive care medicine, graduated and received his master's degree from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Zagreb, where he also defended his doctoral dissertation in 2011 on the topic: Key parameters for building a comprehensive patient safety system. He attended professional courses in the USA, China, Italy, France and Poland He is a member of several domestic and international professional societies. Invited lecturer at many  domestic and international scientific and professional conferences.

He began his career as an anesthesiologist at the Bjelovar General Hospital.  From 2011 to 2024 he was employed at the Sveti Duh Clinical Hospital and since 2024 at the Clinical Hospital Center Zagreb. In the hospital system, he held the positions of Assistant Director for Quality and Head of the Anesthesiology Department. He has been in cumulative employment at the Catholic University of Croatia since 2016.

Anesthesiology and intensive care, obstetric anesthesiology, acute and chronic pain management, palliative medicine, quality management in healthcare.
