Ingrid Marton

Ingrid Marton graduated from the School of Medicine at the University of Zagreb in 1998 with highest honors. She works at the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics of the Sveti Duh University Hospital as a specialist in gynecology and obstetrics and a subspecialist in gynecologic oncology. She defended her doctoral dissertation in 2013, became an assistant professor in 2016, and an associate professor in 2021. She earned the professional title of primarius in 2017.

She is the president of the Croatian Society for Ultrasound in Gynecology and Perinatology within the Croatian Medical Association and serves as a permanent court expert in gynecology and obstetrics. For more than 20 years, she has been a member of the editorial board of Liječničke novine, as well as over ten professional national and international organizations. She is involved in two scientific projects and leads one of them. She is the author or co-author of more than 50 professional and scientific articles and 35 textbook chapters. She has edited two university textbooks. She is an invited lecturer at national and international congresses and at first-category postgraduate courses. She also regularly acts as a reviewer for domestic and international journals and foreign science foundations.

She regularly advances her training at internationally renowned clinics. She is fluent in English, German, and Spanish, and has passive knowledge of Dutch.
