Hrvojka Soljačić Vraneš

She was born in Zagreb, where, after completing the XV Gymnasium (MIOC), she graduated from the School of Medicine. She passed the specialist examination in Gynecology and Obstetrics in 2003, obtained a Magister of Science degree in 2005, and earned her PhD in 2010. She subspecialized in Fetal Medicine and Obstetrics in 2007 and in Gynecologic Oncology in 2015. In 2013, she was awarded the professional title of primarius. In 2019, she was appointed Adjunct Assistant Professor, and in 2024 Adjunct Associate Professor at the University North in Varaždin. Since 2022 she has been a collaborator, and since 2025 an Associate Professor at the Catholic University of Croatia.

She has been a member of the Croatian Catholic Medical Society since 1992, and within the Croatian Medical Association she is a member of the Society for Gynecologic Oncology as well as the Croatian Gynecologic Endoscopic and Colposcopic Society. She serves as Vice President of the Croatian Society for Psychosomatics in Gynecology and Obstetrics, Treasurer of the Croatian Society for Ultrasound in Gynecology and Perinatology, and is a member of the Executive Board of the Society for Gynecology and Obstetrics. She is the author and co-author of scientific and professional papers, congress presentations, and several textbooks. She is married and the mother of two children. She is employed at the Clinic for Women’s Diseases and Obstetrics, University Hospital Centre “Sestre milosrdnice,” where she is Head of the Outpatient Department.
