Hana Kilijan

Teaching Assistant at the University Department of Communication Science at the Catholic University of Croatia. She earned her master’s degree in 2020 from the same department with a thesis titled “The Frequency of Bioethical Topics in Croatian Daily and Weekly Newspapers”. She is currently enrolled in the doctoral program Sociology: Values, Identity and Social Change in Croatian Society, where her research focuses on digital sociology and digital religion, with particular emphasis on the presence of consecrated life communities in the digital space. She is also an external associate of the Catholic Press Agency.

RESEARCH INTERESTS: 

Media reporting on religion with a special emphasis on the Catholic Church; the use of digital tools and channels in the pastoral and evangelizing mission of the Catholic Church.
