Dražen Maleš

Dražen Maleš was born in Split in 1990. He received his PhD in 2023 from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, with a dissertation titled Media Management and Communication of Major Sports Events. He completed his graduate (2013) and undergraduate (2011) studies in Communication at the University of Zagreb (Croatian Studies). Since September 2025, he has been employed as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Communication Studies, Catholic University of Croatia in Zagreb. From May 2018 he was employed at the Faculty of Croatian Studies, University of Zagreb—first as a research and teaching assistant, from May 2024 as a postdoctoral researcher, and from March to September 2025 as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Communication Studies. To date, he has published several scholarly articles and a book chapter, served on the organizing committees of two international scientific conferences, and acted as editor of two professional monographs.
