Davor Trbušić
Assistant Professor at the University Department of Communication Sciences of the Catholic University of Croatia in Zagreb. He completed his undergraduate and doctoral studies at the University of Zagreb, where in 2022 he defended his dissertation entitled Types and Methods of Censorship of Alojzije Stepinac’s Public Appearances in the Secular and Catholic Press of the Independent State of Croatia.
Before joining the Catholic University of Croatia, he worked at the Department of Communication Studies at the Faculty of Croatian Studies and as a communications associate in the Press Office of the Archdiocese of Zagreb. Alongside his academic work, he is active in the media and communication field: as an editor and presenter on Laudato TV, Radio Sljeme and Croatian Radio; as a trainer in public relations and media workshops for the non-profit sector; and as a video production lead on various commercial projects.
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Public relations, with a particular focus on crisis communication, ethical challenges in practice, and the historical development of the discipline.
