Bruno Matijašević
Assistant Professor at the University Department of Sociology at the Catholic University of Croatia in Zagreb. He graduated from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Split, Department of Teacher Education, and earned his PhD at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek, where he defended his 2024 dissertation entitled The Relationship Between Adolescents’ Situational Leisure and Risky Behaviour Styles. He is also a member of the US Play Coalition and the World Leisure Organisation.
Before his employment at the Catholic University of Croatia, he worked in several primary schools and at the Children’s Excellence Incubator, as well as an external associate at the University of Split and the Catholic University of Croatia. For his professional work, he received an award from the Ministry of Science and Education as one of the most successful professionals in education. He has led several competitive scientific and professional projects of civil society organisations funded by the European Union.
