Anto Čartolovni

Anto Čartolovni is an Associate Professor at the School of Medicine, Catholic University of Croatia, where he leads the Digital Healthcare Ethics Laboratory (Digit-HeaL). He currently serves as a national seconded expert (SNE) at the European Research Council (ERC) in Brussels, participating in the ethical appraisal and monitoring of research projects within the Horizon Europe program. He earned his PhD in Bioethics at the Institute of Bioethics and Medical Humanities, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery A.Gemelli, Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome. He is a recipient of the Rector’s Award for Excellence in academic and research work. As an ethics and research expert, he actively contributes to multiple programs and institutions and is the author of numerous publications addressing the ethical, legal, and societal aspects of emerging technologies in healthcare.
