Ana Penezić

She is an Assistant Professor at the School of Medicine of the Catholic University of Croatia. She earned her medical degree in 2008 and obtained her PhD in 2016 from the University of Zagreb School of Medicine with the dissertation Assessment of Therapeutic Options in Patients with Brain Abscess. From 2009 to 2011, she was employed as an assistant at the University of Zagreb School of Medicine, and since 2011, she has been working at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery of the University Hospital Centre Sestre milosrdnice in Zagreb, where she serves as a specialist in otorhinolaryngology.

She is the author and co-author of several scientific and professional papers and regularly participates in national and international congresses and professional conferences. She is an examiner for the European Board Examination in Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery. Since 2024, she has been employed at the School of Medicine of the Catholic University of Croatia, where she serves as the course leader for Otorhinolaryngology and Cervicofacial Surgery.
