Visit of Dr. Neville Schembri from The Malta College of Arts, Science & Technology

From 19 to 23 May 2025, the Catholic University of Croatia welcomed Dr. Neville Schembri from The Malta College of Arts, Science & Technology (MCAST) as part of the Erasmus+ mobility programme.
 


During his stay, Dr. Schembri met with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zoran Turza, University Coordinator for Student Mobility; Anamarija Čulo Bačarka, mag. iur., Head of the Office for International Cooperation and Mobility Programmes; and Aleksandra Gečević, mag. soc. et mag. educ. soc., Head of the Department for Mobility Programmes. Discussions focused on potential future cooperation through the Erasmus+ programme, particularly in terms of student and staff exchanges.
 

Dr. Schembri toured the University campus and the Skills Lab, and participated in a working meeting with Assist. Prof. Dr. Ivica Matić, Head of the Department of Nursing, and Dr. Vesna Mioč, Head of the Skills Lab. The meeting included an exchange of experiences on nursing study programmes in Malta and at the Catholic University of Croatia, best practices, and the possibilities of student internships within the Erasmus+ framework.

Such mobilities greatly contribute to international cooperation and the development of quality in higher education, and they form a solid foundation for strengthening partnerships between institutions.
