Students of the Faculty of Law Visit the Croatian National Bank
As part of the course Introduction to Economics for Law Students, taught by the course coordinator Assoc. Prof. Petra Palić, PhD, students of the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Croatia visited the Croatian National Bank on 16 December 2025. During the visit, they took part in an interactive lecture entitled From Frankfurt to Dolac: How Monetary Policy Travels.

The lecture introduced students to the fundamental principles of monetary policy, including money creation processes, the ways in which central banks influence the economy, and the role of the European Central Bank in shaping financial stability. Special attention was given to current economic challenges, including inflation trends and the potential introduction of the digital euro. Through real-life examples, students were able to understand how decisions made by central banks affect the everyday economic circumstances of citizens.

The visit was organised within the framework of Moneterra – the Money Museum of the Croatian National Bank, a modern and interactive educational space that explains the role and responsibilities of the central bank, as well as the principles of price stability and monetary policy, through multimedia content.

We thank the Croatian National Bank for the warm welcome and the inspiring lecture, which enabled students to engage in critical thinking and discussion on current economic topics. We look forward to future educational cooperation.
