Student Marta Gabrić gives lectures on her experience working at Radio Bravo

A lecture for first-year undergraduate students of communication studies on the experience of working at Radio Bravo was delivered on Wednesday, May 13, by radio host Marta Gabrić, who is also a second-year graduate student of communication studies, specializing in Intercultural Communication and Journalism, at our University.

Gabrić presented some of the specific features of Radio Bravo, with an emphasis on content creation in the spirit of contemporary radio language, as well as the role of social media and multiplatform content in today’s radio industry.

She also reflected on the role of a radio host and introduced students to the process of preparing and producing radio programs. She spoke about the importance of branding and community building, that is, maintaining relationships with listeners. The lecture was held as part of the course Radio Journalism, taught by Associate Professor Ante Mikić, PhD.
