Professor Kanižaj Guest on the Programme “Good Morning, Croatia”

Prof. Igor Kanižaj, PhD, from the University Department of Communication Studies at the Catholic University of Croatia, appeared as a guest on the television programme Good Morning, Croatia on Wednesday, 1 April 2026. He discussed the results of the “EU Kids Online 2025” research, presented in December 2025, and promoted the round table “Digital Childhood in Croatia – from ‘Frequent Use’ to Constant Connectivity,” held the same day and organized by Matica hrvatska.

Professor Kanižaj emphasized that the EU Kids Online 2025 study is one of the largest research projects conducted at the EU level on children’s media habits and those of their parents.

“Croatia is participating for the second time in the second wave of the research. The first was in 2017, and now we have repeated it. Our coordinator, Assoc. Prof. Lana Ciboci Perša, PhD, led the entire project. We entered schools and worked on a nationally representative sample. A total of 1,172 children aged 10 to 16 participated in the study,” said Kanižaj.
