The Family Center of the Catholic University of Croatia was founded more than a year ago with the mission of education and development of the profession and science in the field of marriage and family, with the primary goal of preserving and promoting Christian values among young people, in families and in the wider community. In order to achieve this mission, the Center cooperates with associations and institutions with similar goals and values. Thus, in cooperation with the Center for Natural Family Planning from Zagreb and the Parish of the Holy Spirit, on Saturday, May 3, a full-day course on fertility and natural family planning, A woman knows, was held at the pastoral center of the sanctuary of the Holy Mother of Freedom on Jarun in Zagreb. The course was held by the head of the Family Center of the Catholic University of Croatia, Assoc. Prof. Marija Ćurlin, instructor of the Billings ovulation method Ivana Vrbanić, and Salesian priest Don Damir Stojić.

Through a lecture and workshop, Ivana Vrbanić and Marija Ćurlin introduced the Billings Ovulation Method® to the participants, introduced them to the Evelyn app, and taught them how to apply this method for family planning and for monitoring fertility and women's health. In her lecture "Natural Fertility Monitoring and Contraception in the Context of Health and Family Planning," Marija Ćurlin emphasized the importance of knowing and respecting one's own fertility and explained how fertility monitoring helps in caring for women's health. Don Damir Stojić delighted the participants with his lecture "Theology of the Female Body," and a strong stamp on the entire meeting was given by Marija and Marko Blagović, a married couple who testified about how to live a Christian marriage in accordance with God's plan for human sexuality. About a hundred participants participated, who were extremely satisfied with the course and expressed their desire for more young people and married couples to gain this knowledge that will help them in living a Christian marriage, planning a family, and caring for their health.
