Open Day Held at the School of Medicine of the Catholic University of Croatia
On Tuesday, 27 May 2025, the School of Medicine of the Catholic University of Croatia welcomed secondary school graduates interested in enrolling for the upcoming academic year.

The introductory speech on behalf of the University and the Faculty was delivered by the Dean of the School of Medicine, Prof. Dalibor Karlović, PhD.

The programme of study and approach to studying medicine at the Catholic University of Croatia were presented by faculty members Assistant Professor Momir Futo, PhD, and Assistant Professor Tihana Magdić Turković, PhD. Additionally, first-year student Nejla Bektić and third-year student Matija Lasović shared their personal experiences of studying medicine at the University.

Participants had the opportunity to tour the facilities where practical classes are held. They observed demonstrations of exercises in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, microbiology, and microscopy of healthy and diseased tissues, practised clinical skills on training models, and tried out the Anatomage Table for anatomy learning.

Visitors expressed their enthusiasm for the visit and gratitude to the faculty and students for offering insight into the demanding yet rewarding nature of medical studies at the Catholic University of Croatia. They were particularly impressed by the curriculum's strong practical orientation and the spirit of collaboration and community among students and faculty, which greatly enhances the learning experience.
What truly left a lasting impression was the passion and enthusiasm with which the current medical students shared their experiences—so much so that many attendees concluded that the Catholic University of Croatia is now their top choice for medical studies.
