Midwifery Students Attend Professional Course “Ergonomics, Safety and an Individual Approach to the Woman in Labour”
First-year undergraduate midwifery students Patricia Bogdanović, Karla Strugar, Ivana Grgić, and Ana Marija Grgić participated in a professional course titled “Ergonomics, Safety and an Individual Approach to the Woman in Labour,” organized by the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics of the Sisters of Charity University Hospital Centre.

During the course, the students had the opportunity to expand their theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of proper ergonomics when working with women in labour, safety protocols in a clinical environment, and the importance of an individualized approach to each patient. Participation in such training contributes to the development of students’ professional competencies and represents an important step in preparing them for responsible and professional work in the field of midwifery.
