Invitation to the Episcopal Ordination of Msgr. Kovač and Msgr. Razum

On 17 November 2025, Pope Leo XIV appointed two new Auxiliary Bishops of Zagreb: Msgr. Marko Kovač and Msgr. Vlado Razum.

The liturgical celebration of their episcopal ordination will take place on Saturday, 31 January 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m., in Zagreb Cathedral.

Msgr. Dražen Kutleša, Archbishop of Zagreb, invites the faithful to join in the celebration and to pray for the new Auxiliary Bishops. Accordingly, the text of the Prayer of the Faithful for Masses on Sunday, 25 January 2026, is provided and can be read HERE.

As we pray to the Lord that, in professing the Son of God, we may be one in Him, we commend ourselves to the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Blessed Alojzije Stepinac, remaining united in devoted service within our Church of Zagreb.
