Graduate Sociology Students on Field Visit to the Croatian Chamber of Economy

On Friday, May 16, 2025, graduate students of Sociology, accompanied by teaching assistant Matea Topić Crnoja, visited the Croatian Chamber of Economy (HGK) as part of fieldwork for the course Sociology of Governance II: Management of Public Sector Institutions.
 

During an informative lecture, students learned about the public and market-oriented activities of the Chamber, its organizational structure, and the target audiences it engages with. The presentation also covered the process of adopting sector-specific legislation, as well as various educational programs and public campaigns conducted by HGK. Finally, the knowledge and skills sought in prospective employees of the Chamber were highlighted.
