Dean Turkalj at the International Conference “Challenges of Catholic Legal Education in the 21st Century” in Budapest

Assoc. Prof. Kristian Turkalj, Ph.D., Acting Dean of the Faculty of Law, participated on 4 June 2025 in the international conference “Challenges of Catholic Legal Education in the 21st Century” held in Budapest, organized by Pázmány Péter Catholic University.

 


The conference brought together representatives from law faculties of the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv, Barry University in Orlando, Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University in Tbilisi, John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, and Strathmore University in Nairobi.
Assoc. Prof. Turkalj delivered a presentation titled: “Challenges of Catholic Legal Education in Croatia – the Path Toward a Different Approach to Studying Law.”
 


The conference also provided an opportunity for bilateral discussions on establishing Erasmus cooperation between the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Croatia and the law faculties represented at the event.
