Associate Professor Ježovita participated in EVS project meetings and the COST Action VISTA in Lisbon
Associate Professor Josip Ježovita, PhD, participated on March 12 and 13, 2026, in a series of scientific and professional meetings held at the Instituto de Ciências Sociais in Lisbon. The activities took place within the framework of the European Values Study (EVS) project and the COST Action VISTA (Values in Turbulent Times: Navigating Social Changes and Challenges).

As a representative of the Croatian team, together with Associate Professor Silvija Migles, PhD, from the Catholic Faculty of Theology, Associate Professor Ježovita participated in the EVS General Assembly meetings. On that occasion, key information on the status of field research was exchanged among numerous member countries.
Within the broader project governance, strategic issues were discussed between the Executive and Scientific Committees. Particular emphasis was placed on the preparation of a new research wave, including the presentation of methodological guidelines and support services provided by Centerdata, the institution responsible for the project’s technical and infrastructural support.

As a member of the Management Committee of the COST Action VISTA and leader of the working group “Methodological Challenges in Measuring Values,” Associate Professor Ježovita presented the current progress and activities of the working group to the committee members. The focus of the work remains on addressing complex methodological challenges in measuring social values in a contemporary, turbulent context.
