Assistant Professor Suzana Peran Contributes to the Incipe Iterum Document of the Order of Friars Minor

Assistant Professor Suzana Peran, PhD, from the University Department of Communication Studies, contributed to the development of Incipe Iterum - Let Us Begin Again: Guidelines for Presence in Digital Media, a document of the Order of Friars Minor (OFM) recently published on the Order’s official website.

The document provides guidance for Franciscan friars and candidates on how to engage with digital media in accordance with Church teaching and Franciscan values. According to the Order of Friars Minor, it serves as a practical guide for navigating digital spaces, both as consumers and creators of content, for personal and social use.

The document is the result of a collaborative initiative launched on September 20, 2024, under the leadership of the General Definitory, following a mandate issued by the 2021 General Chapter. The Digital Media Commission was established by bringing together friars and lay experts from different continents, combining academic expertise with practical experience in pastoral communication and media-based evangelization.
