Assistant Professor Mijoč at the Professional Conference “Symposium on Female Athletes’ Health – Prevention, Diagnosis, Treatment”

On Friday, 14 November 2025, Assist. Prof. Vesna Mijoč from the Faculty of Health Sciences participated in the professional conference titled “Symposium on Female Athletes’ Health – Prevention, Diagnosis, Treatment”, organised by the Croatian Olympic Committee (HOO) and its Medical Commission in Zagreb.

The event included a continuing education course for all participants – physicians, physiotherapists, coaches, sports professionals, and female and male athletes – with the goal of enhancing expertise in the field of health care in sports.
 

The programme featured numerous lectures and a panel discussion, providing an opportunity to refresh existing knowledge and gain insight into the latest trends in prevention, diagnosis, and treatment related to female athletes.
 

Such events – organised by the HOO and aimed at maintaining high standards in sports health – are of key importance for professional development and the overall advancement of the sports system in Croatia.
