Edyta SIKORSKA, a clinical psychologist by background, a specialist in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
For several years, she worked as psychologist-counsellor for NGOs and local government in Gdansk, Poland.
As from 2009 she has been working for the EU Institutions. Prior to her current position, she was responsible for public procurement in the Science in Society Unit. Currently, she is working in the Ethics and Research Integrity Sector, DG Research & Innovation, European Commission. She is responsible for operational issues in the ethics appraisal process, experts’ support and ethics helpdesk. In addition, she is responsible for the cooperation with the representatives of National Ethics Councils and organization of the NEC Forum meetings.


 

Staša Skenžić

Staša SKENŽIĆ

Stasa SKENŽIĆ has been working at the Ministry of Science and Education since 2007. He is currently the Head of the Independent Service for Policy Coordination, European Affairs and International Cooperation. He graduated from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb and earned a degree in Croatian language and literature. At the Ministry of Science and Education, he is in charge of international cooperation, he coordinated the accession of the Republic of Croatia to CERN and ESA, and was also responsible for setting up the NCP network for the implementation of Horizon 2020. In addition, he also established scientific cooperation with a number of countries, among others with the Republic of Korea, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Turkey. Prior to the Ministry, he was a Croatian Language Lecturer at universities in Poland and Russia.


 

Marta Čivljak

Marta ČIVLJAK is Associate Professor at the Catholic University of Croatia. She obtained her MD and PhD degrees from the University of Zagreb School of Medicine. Previously she used to work at Andrija Štampar School of Public Health, University of Zagreb School of Medicine. Since 2015. She has been the Head of Nursing Department at the Catholic University of Croatia and is involved in several teaching courses in nursing ethics and medical ethics. Her research interests are public health, mental health and evidence-based medicine. She attended many courses and programs in the field of Public Health in Ireland, Canada, Poland and the USA. She is a reviewer for multiple peer-reviewed journals and books. She is a specialist in Psychiatry. Author of many scientific papers including Cochrane reviews.

Skilled in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Event Managment, Protocol,  Marketing Management, Advertising, Team Building, Web Design. Strong media and communication professional with a Master’s degree in Marketing from the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb. Present Head of Public Relations Office at the Catholic University of Croatia and PhD researcher in Communication sciences at Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Croatia.
